CBYX for Young Professionals

On Friday I received an email from Will Maier stating that I was one of 75 people that made the scholarship to go to the CBYX Young Professionals program.
I don’t think words can properly describe just how excited I was. It’s monday and I’m still smiling from how excited I am. Every once and a while I pause and think… I’m going to Germany. It’s nice to be an outbound again. And the hope is this will go a little better (and longer) than France.
I’ve already connected with several of the other students, and they all seem so nice and the group is so varied. I can’t stop bouncing about this. I really cried when I read that email, it was such a bad day and it was such an amazing thing.
I can’t really revel in the news, because now I have to figure out all the details about it. How the people in my house will manage, scholarship money, credits, jobs, everything. Meh.
I’m still smiling though.
